SOFT CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Ingredients:
250 grams flour
150 grams butter
100 grams chocolate
100 grams sugar
50 ml full fat milk
50 grams pitted prunes
50 grams candied strawberries
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder


Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, then set it aside to cool. Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add the egg and blend well. Slowly drizzle in the melted chocolate, beating the whole time, drizzle in the milk, in the same way, and finally, tip in the finely chopped prunes and bits of candied strawberries. Sift the flour with the baking powder, then add it to the chocolate batter in a few additions, folding with a spatula or a wooden spoon as you add. Using a cookie scoop (or an ice-cream scoop), form about 17 cookies and arrange them on a cookie sheet lined with baking paper. Bake, in a preheated oven at 180˚C for 15 minutes. Be careful when you take them off the cookie sheet, because they are quite soft when you take them out of the oven. Cool completely and serve with milk or coffee.
